Damak is the beautiful place situated in the western part of Jhapa district. Either side of Damak there are two rivers Ratuwa which is the famous river. It is situated in the eastern part of Damak. The river and bridge can be seen in our site. And on western side the river Mawa is situated which is also the border of Jhapa and Morang.

Damak chowk is beautiful palce with a huge ring rood with garden too. The Mahendra Highway passes through Damak chowk. Lots of people live here. There are many people of different religion like Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, Muslim and others too. A majority of people is Rai Gurung, Limbu, Shrestha, Bramins and Chhetri. all the people live in peace and harmony. There are two main markets one is Grocery market where you can buy vegetables, fruits you can buy fancy items, clothes etc as you know. And near Ratuwa river there is a bus park known as eastern bus park. And there is also a animals market near by bus park. There is also western bus park at the west of Damak.
